5. Telehealth & Electronic Communication
If you receive services via telehealth, your sessions are protected by encryption and comply with HIPAA and Illinois law. By using telehealth, you consent to the exchange of medical information electronically.
We recommend using our secure Patient Portal for electronic communications. If you choose to use email or text messaging, please understand that these may not be fully secure.
6. Data Protection and Security
We implement industry-standard physical, administrative, and technical safeguards to protect your information. In compliance with Illinois PIPA, we take additional steps to protect "personal information," including notifying affected individuals of certain breaches.
7. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy as needed to reflect legal or operational changes. The updated version will be posted on our website with a new effective date.
